2015 District Conferences Election Results
A series of elections took place over spring 2015 at various district conferences across Canada. Here is a look at the lineup of re-elected district and assistant district superintendents (there were no changes).
British Columbia and Yukon District
Rev. Ken Russell was re-elected as district superintendent, and has been serving in this role since 2008.
Rev. David Solmes was re-elected as assistant district superintendent, and was first elected in May 2009.
Alberta and Northwest Territories District
Rev. Ken Solbrekken was re-elected as district superintendent. He was first elected in 2007.
The assistant district superintendent position will be up for election in 2016 (there is currently no formally titled assistant district superintendent role).
Saskatchewan District
Rev. John Drisner was re-elected as district superintendent, and was first elected in 2011.
Rev. Doug Lancaster was re-elected assistant district superintendent, a role to which he was also first elected in 2011.
Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario District
Rev. Jim Poirier was re-elected as district superintendent. He has been in office since 2007.
Rev. Mark Tombs was re-elected as assistant district superintendent, and held this office since 2009, before which he served as secretary treasurer from 2000.
Western Ontario District
There were no district elections this year. Until 2017, Rev. Lorrie Gibbons will continue to serve as district superintendent and Rev. Mark Hazzard as assistant superintendent.
Eastern Ontario and Nunavut District
Rev. Craig Burton was re-elected district superintendent, a role in which he has now served for 10 years.
Rev. David Blakely was re-elected as assistant to the superintendent – Resources, a role to which he was first elected in 2009.
Rev. Cal Anthony was re-elected as assistant to the superintendent – Ministry. He has served with the district office since 2001.
Quebec District
Rev. Michel Bisaillon was re-appointed district superintendent. He was first appointed to the role in 2009.
Rev. Paul Tétreault was re-appointed as assistant district superintendent. He was first appointed to the role in 2000.
Maritime District
Rev. Kevin Johnson was re-elected as district superintendent. He was first elected in 2011. Rev. Carmen Crockett was re-elected as assistant superintendent, and was first elected in 2013.
