Don and Dorothy Raymer Honoured by ERDO
Don and Dorothy Raymer were honoured for laying the foundation for ERDO’s conception and development. When ERDO (Emergency Relief and Development Overseas) first began operations, 110,000 tons of food was sent to Ethiopia and around the world from 1984 to 1987. “It was Don’s imagination and vision that made sure we had a means to help nations and communities in crisis,” said David Adcock, CEO of ERDO. “‘We earned the right to be heard,’ was a favourite phrase of Don’s. And today, 42,000 people were fed because of the work of our Fellowship. And they were fed in the name of Jesus.” David presented Don with a crystal award in honour of his dedicated service.
