Prayer for the Ottawa/Gatineau Region

Our leaders, churches and the broader Ottawa/Gatineau community are in our prayers. Environment Canada has confirmed that three additional tornadoes touched down in western Quebec on Friday — bringing the day’s total number of twisters in the Ottawa-Gatineau area to six. One of our local PAOC churches reported that they have organized teams to go to the neighbours with food and assistance in cleaning up their properties. They have also reached out with food and help to a neighbouring seniors building, and hosted a community dinner for those in their area affected by the tornado. We’ll continue to track stories coming out of this region on how our churches are impacted and responding.
