Prayer Request and Update on PAOC church Carrefour chrétien de la Capitale
To our ministry colleagues and friends,
We are calling for concentrated prayer now and in the days ahead in the aftermath of a major fire which devastated the Carrefour chrétien de la Capitale, led by Pastor Paul Corriveau, in Quebec City, on Saturday night. No one was injured but there was major damage. Here is an update from Pastor Corriveau.

UPDATE ON THE CARREFOUR CHRÉTIEN DE LA CAPITALE
Quebec City, Monday, June 5th, 2017
The fire that struck the Carrefour Chrétien de la Capitale on the night of June 3rd to the 4th has been devastating. The intensity of the smoke, the flames and the abundant amount of water used to extinguish the fire makes us believe that almost nothing will be salvaged.
It is obvious that we will not be able to hold meetings in the building anymore. The inspectors are investigating to determine the cause. It seems to have an electrical origin in the administrative offices.
The whole Carrefour team is very busy preparing things to ensure that our activities will resume as soon as possible. We are active making sure we can hold our “regular” service next Sunday in a place yet to be determined.
We appreciate your support in prayer so our Sovereign God who knows all things will grant us wisdom in the many decisions we will have to make in the coming days. Thank you for praying for the brothers and sisters at the Carrefour who are also greatly affected by these events that have destabilized all of us.
We want to thank those who have sent us comforting and encouraging messages at this difficult time. Feeling surrounded in this way has greatly touched us. Thank you very much.
