PENTECOST SUNDAY

May God pour out His Spirit in a vibrant and powerful way as churches across Canada celebrate Pentecost Sunday on May 20. Pray that people throughout our churches will be strengthened and vested by the Spirit with fresh power, vision, passion and ability to reach their communities for Christ. Pray also that congregations will grow in their understanding of the Word, in their relationship with God, and in their relationship with one another.

EASTERN ONTARIO & NUNAVUT DISTRICT

Pray for the youth who will be attending “Made,” the senior high youth conference that will be taking place at Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario, from May 18 to 20. May they have powerful encounters with God, engage in passionate worship and experience life-changing teaching sessions. Pray that God will prompt many youth to attend, and that He will remove any obstacles to their attendance. Pray that He will prepare their hearts to receive all that He wants to accomplish during this event. Pray that many seeds will be planted in these young people’s hearts and that their lives and their families’ lives will be impacted for eternity. Pray also for the speaker and music artists as they prepare for their time together.

MARITIME DISTRICT

The Maritime Youth Convention titled “Spirit” is taking place this upcoming weekend (May 18 to 20) at Glad Tidings Church in Moncton, New Brunswick. Pray that the youth attending will have opportunities to connect with one another, build relationships, and experience life-changing moments with Jesus Christ. May they also learn about God’s love for them and how to deepen their faith throughout the weekend.

Trent & Rhonda Lipinski

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Pray for Trent and Rhonda as they work with and minister to the people around them. Pray for their safety, health and protection as they respond to God’s call throughout the Dominican Republic. Pray for individual and church partners to come alongside them and for the work projects to effectively demonstrate God’s care and compassion. Pray also that God would bless Trent and Rhonda with wisdom as they plan and prepare to enter Spanish language training school.
