Youth Director/Pastor and Worship

We are a growing multicultural, multigenerational church in the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). We are looking for a Youth Director/Pastor who will • Oversee Youth Ministry (Wed and Thurs evenings) • Coordinate and schedule Youth social media posts • Lead worship on Sunday twice a month • Participate with the tech team once a month (can train) • Involve youth in regional opportunities (One Con, MYC, Youth Camp, etc.) • Work with Next Gen Music Director for Youth Take Over Services • Invite youth to join ministry teams (Tech, Greeting, Kids Min, etc.) • Participate in staff meetings, and outreaches (Winter Extravaganza, Easter Egg Hunt, Dalhousie Meal Outreach, etc.) Salary Range Competitive Salary, Car Allowance, Phone Allowance, Health and Dental Benefits, and Pension/RRSP for 20+ hours.

• A heart for God and reaching youth • Credentials, or willing to work towards being credentialed with the PAOC • Encourage, equip, send Next Gen and team members into mission • A heart for guiding/mentoring team, up and coming leaders and youth • Engaging and culturally responsive in a diverse context • Good communication Skills • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Suite, Planning Center, Church Center, Canva or equivalent, and Plan to Protect or equivalent. (ProPresenter, Sound or Livestream experience an asset but not required)

• Bachelor’s degree (or in process) in Next Gen or Pastoral Ministry or Theology.
