Job Description

Key Responsibilities: • Preaching & Teaching: Deliver biblically sound, Gospel-centred, Spirit-led sermons and lead regular Bible studies • Spiritual Leadership: Provide pastoral care, counseling, and spiritual guidance to individuals and families, including home and hospital visitations • Vision & Strategy: Collaborate with church leadership to develop and implement a clear vision for ministry and growth • Leadership Development: Equip and mentor ministry leaders, staff, and volunteers. • Community Engagement: Represent Bethel Chapel in the local community and foster outreach initiatives • Administrative Oversight: Work alongside the church Board to manage operations, budgets, and ministry planning

Required Skills

• A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to personal spiritual disciplines • Strong preaching, teaching, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work with people of diverse socio-political beliefs • Proven track record of reliability, integrity and hard work • Alignment with Bethel Chapel’s statement of faith and the theological distinctives of the PAOC • A heart for discipleship, evangelism, and community outreach

Education Required

A degree in theology, ministry, or a related field (seminary or Bible College preferred) Credentialed or eligible for credentialing with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC)

Experience Required

Minimum 3–5 years of pastoral experience Selkirk MB, Lead Pastor
