Gordon Upton, who served the Lord with The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada for more than 76 years, passed away on April 21, 2026, just two months shy of his 100th birthday. 

Gordon was deeply respected across the PAOC for his enduring devotion to the Lord and to kingdom ministry, his wisdom, and his servant-hearted leadership.

He held many positions within the PAOC including general secretary treasurer, pastor, district superintendent, assistant district superintendent, missionary, executive director of home missions, Bible colleges and men’s fellowship, Bible college chairman, but also author, and husband, father and grandfather.

Gordon, and his wife, Aileen, were married for 69 years before she passed away in 2020. They had two daughters, Judy and Linda.

Visitation will take place on May 11, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Ogden Funeral Homes (4164 Sheppard Avenue E., Scarborough).

A funeral will be held on May 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Shepherd Village (3760 Sheppard Avenue E., Scarborough).
