PAOC Prayer - Your Update for the Week of November 4, 2019

Re-revised PAOC Prayer Banner

PAOC Prayer is a weekly communication of prayer requests sent from The PAOC International Office in Mississauga, Ont. To download a PDF version of PAOC Prayer, please click here.

Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.

PERSECUTED CHURCH

Over 200 million Christians around the world are persecuted for their faith in Jesus and are silenced through physical attacks, acts of humiliation and harassment, limited employment opportunities, and more. Please pray for strength, perseverance, faith and peace for those impacted, and for spiritual breakthrough in those regions where the gospel is suppressed. Together we can speak up #forthesilenced. For resources and more information visit forthesilenced.paoc.org.

WESTERN ONTARIO DISTRICT

May God bless and guide everyone attending the day of dialogue surrounding the Statement of Fundamental and Essential Truths (SOFET) review and refresh process, at Calvary Pentecostal Assembly in Cambridge, Ontario, on November 5. Pray that it will be a day filled with great insight, intentional discussion, and unity around outcomes. Pray also for the women attending “Capacity,” the mentoring experience weekend at Braeside Camp in Paris, Ontario, from November 8 to 9. May God use this time together to help these women learn how to impact their families, churches and neighbourhoods.

SASKATCHEWAN DISTRICT

Pray for the people attending the “HLN (Healthy Leaders Network) One Day” events at Crossroads Pentecostal Assembly in Prince Albert on November 5, at Elim Church in Saskatoon on November 6, and at Avonhurst Pentecostal Assembly in Regina on November 7. May they be inspired, engaged and refreshed as they learn how to improve and renew their churches. May God grant them wisdom and help them to look at their ministries with a fresh perspective. Also, as they connect with one another, may God strengthen their passion to reach their communities for Christ.

BRITISH COLUMBIA & YUKON DISTRICT

Pray for everyone attending the Licensed Minister Retreat at Stillwood Camp and Conference Centre in Lindell Beach, B.C., from November 4 to 6. Pray that the leaders will be invigorated and receive clear direction from the Lord as they worship God, pray together and share ideas with each other on spreading the gospel in word and deed in their communities.
