A man shot and killed 50 people and injured 50 others at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, on Friday (March 15). Pray for physical and emotional healing for the people who survived the rampage and for the families and friends of those killed or seriously injured. Pray that God will grant comfort and peace to everyone impacted. Pray for opportunities for the gospel to spread, so that many people will find hope in Christ in the aftermath of this tragedy. Pray also for wisdom and insight for the authorities investigating the incident, so that similar events can be prevented.

Massive floods struck Mozambique, Malawi and South Africa last week following heavy rain caused by Tropical Cyclone Idai. More than 115 people were killed, with more than 843,000 people affected. Many people have been displaced as the flooding destroyed crops and thousands of buildings, including homes, hospitals and classrooms. Pray that God will guide the rescue teams as they search for victims and that aid supplies will get to where they are needed. Pray that God will comfort those in the affected areas, whether they have been injured, lost family and friends, or lost their homes. Pray also that many people will have opportunities to hear and receive the gospel.
