PAOC Prayer - Your Update for the Week of January 7, 2019

Re-revised PAOC Prayer Banner

PAOC Prayer is a weekly communication of prayer requests sent from The PAOC International Office in Mississauga, Ont. To download a PDF version of PAOC Prayer, please click here.

Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.

CANADA

Please continue to pray for Clark and Kim Moran, co-lead pastors at Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly, who are still attempting to bring their adopted son, Ayo, home to Canada from Ghana. Pray that God will bring an end to the administrative delays so that they will all be reunited in Canada soon. Pray that He will encourage the Morans during this difficult time, and grant them peace. May God also use their experience to draw people to learn more about Him and to faith in Christ.

BRITISH COLUMBIA & YUKON DISTRICT

Pray for all of the university and college students who will be attending the Emerge Retreat at Mountainview Conference Centre in Hope, BC, from January 11 to 13, 2019. Ask God to inspire and encourage them as they connect with one another and with Him. May they have fun, build deeper relationships, and may their souls feel spiritually revitalized through this weekend. Pray also for the speakers and musical worship team as they prepare for their time together.

PAOC CHURCHES & MINISTRIES

Pray for our churches and ministries across Canada as they follow up with the many guests and connections made during the Christmas season and into the New Year. Pray that those who heard the good news surrounding the birth of Christ would continue to pursue a relationship with the One who came to earth to be their Saviour and that they and their families would commit to follow Him fully. Pray also that pastors, leaders, staff and volunteers who serve faithfully would be encouraged and strengthened and would see a great harvest as a result of their ministry efforts in the month of December.

Kathryn Mizen

HONDURAS

Pray that Kathryn, and the team at Schools of Hope, will be spiritually strengthened and encouraged as they minister to everyone around them. Pray that the seeds of the gospel that are planted in the hearts of the children, their teachers and their families will grow and change their lives. Pray that God will guide Kathryn as she equips and mentors the growing Schools of Hope team. Pray for continued favour and open doors so that the gospel can be shared within the public schools. Pray also for Kathryn’s daily safety and protection.
