Location: Africa & The Middle East - Conakry, Guinea
Vision Statement: Tyler and Leala’s vision is to serve alongside the people of Guinea in a way that helps communities take one step closer to Jesus through relationship, practical care, and sharing God’s love in everyday life.
Ministry Focus: Tyler and Leala will be serving in Conakry, Guinea, alongside Philip and Judy Bowler, serving in their ministry to support both the physical and spiritual well-being of the Guinean people. The work focuses on education, health care, and discipleship, helping to bring the gospel to those who have not yet heard it in their own language or culture.
The focus will be to come alongside and serve in all areas of ministry, including supporting Christian schools & orphanages, helping with the pediatric clinic project, working with the Alleluia churches, and engaging in community outreach. They want to serve where they are most needed, whether that’s through hands-on work, teaching, or simply building relationships.
They have a desire to reflect Christ through actions; to listen, learn, and serve faithfully. Transformation happens when faith is lived out in community, and they are excited to come alongside the Bowlers and to be part of what God is already doing in Guinea.
Ministry History: Both Tyler and Leala have been involved in ministry in different ways throughout their lives. Leala has worked in children’s ministry, running church day camps and serving in her local congregation. Tyler has served through mission work and camp ministry, bringing his background in engineering and leadership to support community-focused projects.
Together, they’ve always felt drawn to serve, whether that’s through teaching, building, or simply being available. Over time, this call has grown stronger, leading them to take this next step of faith in joining the work in Guinea. As they walk in obedience to what God is asking of them, they have a heart posture to learn, serve, and continue to walk through the doors of where God may lead.
Prayer Requests:
- For the people of Guinea, that their hearts would be open to the Gospel and that the local church would continue to grow and thrive.
- For their ministry journey, they would serve with wisdom, humility, and discernment as they determine where they can best serve alongside Philip and Judy.
- For spiritual growth and endurance, that they would continue to trust God fully in both the challenges and the quiet moments, keeping their focus on Him in all things.
