Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Our Vision: We are called to reach the next generation in Bangkok—especially youth from underprivileged backgrounds—by nurturing their faith and equipping them with life skills. Our mission is to disciple young people, raising up confident, Christ-centered leaders who will bring lasting transformation to Thailand.
Ministry Focus: With just over 1% of its population identifying as Christian, Thailand remains one of the world’s unreached nations. In Bangkok, many young people—particularly those in low-income areas and children’s homes—grow up without stable support systems. Spiritually, they’ve never encountered Jesus. Socially, they face poverty, broken families, and limited educational opportunities.
God has given us a heart for these youth. I (Timothy) serve as the youth pastor at LifeChurch Bangkok, and my wife Sophia teaches at a missional Christian school. Together, we are committed to seeing lives changed by the love of Jesus.
We focus on Thai students in our local community and residential children’s care homes—many of whom are eager to learn, especially English, but lack consistent support. We began with free English classes at our church to create a safe, encouraging space. Now, God is opening doors for us to minister among underserved and at-risk children in our community, in partnership with faith-based organizations. Our desire is to teach, mentor, and most importantly, share the gospel with the next generation.
We believe these young people are worth it. They need to know they are seen, loved, and created for a purpose.
Ministry History: Before entering ministry, I (Timothy) trained as a chef, but a serious burn accident in 2014 became a turning point. It stirred a passion in me to see lives saved and transformed. I later worked in logistics while serving as a youth leader in Canada, gaining experience in youth ministry, event planning, and team leadership.
My wife Sophia felt called to missions during a short-term trip. While preparing to go, she served on her church’s missions committee, hosting team, and women’s ministry. With a background in business and education, she worked as a Manager of Client Services in the bank before stepping into her calling as a teacher. After teaching in Canada for four years, she taught in China for two and then followed God’s leading to Thailand.
Prayer Requests:
PRAY for Life Learners to connect with more students in underserved areas and for more volunteers to join the mission.
PRAY for Sophia to have strength and endurance as she teaches full time and pours into the next generation.
PRAY for LifeChurch Bangkok to experience God’s continued guidance, power, and growth as we disciple young Thai believers.
