TRANSFORMATIONAL IMPACT: My passion is to help provide crucial mentorship and advocacy for local pastors planting churches in North India who often face tremendous obstacles, including persecution.
MINISTRY FOCUS: North India has over 900 million people with over 90% of the population needing to hear the gospel. Unfortunately, the current political challenges are a huge hinderance for evangelism and church planting.
I travel frequently to India as a Canada-based global worker, especially to newer places where a considerable need for gospel witness exists. Currently, I’m mentoring and counselling the pastors from five church plants, with the goal to increase that number to 10. Due to so much persecution and so few resources, these churches need every bit of Paul-like encouragement that I can possibly give them.
I have built relationships with seven Bible colleges, to especially advocate for students desperately in need of a Timothy Fund scholarship. I’m also involved in promoting a new project of planting 500 new churches over the next two years. This has been initiated by North India church leaders, desiring to see more people come to faith in Christ.
YOUR IMPACT: You will help to build up five church plants in North India, with the goal to help more churches be planted throughout North India.
MINISTRY HISTORY: Born and raised in India, in 1989, I felt God call me into ministry. In 1994, I graduated with a Master of Divinity from Southern Asia Bible College. I then went on to serve in missions North India for 13 years. In 1999, I married my wife Ruth, a nurse. In 2007, I and my family moved to Canada to pastor a local congregation in Scarborough. In 2011, I joined the pastoral team of Malvern Christian Assembly and have served as the church’s mission and prayer pastor. In 2019, I was appointed to serve as a Canadian-based global worker with a focus on North India. My wife Ruth and I are blessed with two lovely daughters, both currently studying at university.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- For God to grant me favour and protection to share the gospel in the midst of all the political changes and persecution.
- For God to protect local pastors who continue to face persecution in many forms.
- For God to care for me, Ruth, and our two daughters and provide for our various needs.
