Location: El Salvador
Vision Statement: As Islam continues to grow in El Salvador, the Lord has placed a deep desire in my heart to help Salvadoran pastors and churches embrace God’s heart for the increasing Muslim population in their communities. I hope to equip them to engage wisely, compassionately, and effectively in sharing the gospel.
Ministry Statement: El Salvador is an evangelized nation, but not a discipled nation. Many people attend church but do not stand on a strong foundation in their faith. Because of this, there is a need for discipleship and training.
I hope to bring greater awareness for pastors and believers about the growing presence of Islam in El Salvador and practical wisdom for how the Church can respond in a Christ-honoring way. I also hope to meaningfully equip believers to engage with Muslim people knowledgeably, confidently, and lovingly so they gain a deeper grasp of the Father’s love for those living in spiritual darkness.
Ministry History: After ten years of both volunteer and full-time missions work in El Salvador, and two additional years serving among a large unreached religious community in Canada, I am sensing the Lord bringing these two journeys together. I believe He is leading me to draw from my experience in both contexts to help mobilize and equip Salvadoran believers to reach the unreached in their own nation.
Prayer points:
- Networking: For the Lord to arrange the right contacts and connections in El Salvador with those who need this equipping the most.
- Preparation: For wisdom and helpful resources as I prepare these workshops.
- Impact: For the Holy Spirit to move pastors’ and individual believers’ hearts with a desire to reach Muslim people, for a strengthening of their own foundation of faith, and for the gospel to go out to the least reached.
