OUR VISION: Our dream impact at The Building Up Dreams Centre is for every child to know the tangible love of Jesus through practical training, relationship building, and unconditional care. Our ministry has vision to see the next generation know their worth and to train them up to one day shine the light of Jesus in their community and beyond.
MINISTRY FOCUS: Spiritually we are focusing on addressing the truth that Christ is Lord as we are in a predominantly Buddhist believing community. Socially we are exemplifying the idea of loving your neighbor as yourself. Training them up in the ways they should go so that when they are old they will not depart from it. Prov. 22:6. Our focus community group are school aged children, youth, and their families. Our family established this ministry in 2015 and we are the current directors. We have many local ministers from local churches who lend support to our programs and have impact that’s multifaceted.
MINISTRY HISTORY: Nishanthe was born and raised in Sri Lanka. Lived a life very similar to that of the young people we are reaching. Once he came to know Jesus he gave his whole life to serving and filled a variety of roles as a children’s ministry leader. I (Kristin) went from Canada on several short-term mission trips to Sri Lanka before solidifying my call to full-time ministry there. Since 2013 we have served full time with Mission Global and in 2014 we answered God’s call to establish and build a ministry centre in Sri Lanka. We reside here with our four children: Aneisha, Mikaela, Jayden, and Kyla.

- Pray for our ministry as it’s reached a 10 year milestone this year.
- Pray for the lives we have built trust with to open their hearts to receive Jesus as Lord.
- Pray for our family and our support staff as we serve our community.
