Location: Uganda, Africa
Ministry Focus: In her experience growing up in South Africa and later living in Uganda, Linda has found that young Africans have a hunger to grow spiritually and a desire to live their lives in confidence as they serve God. Each time she works alongside her African friends she is amazed at the passion they put into transformation, growth and service. God is calling young Africans to reach their own with His love. Linda is happy to be involved.
God has called Linda to accomplish this in two ways:
To provide discipleship training via correspondence courses that will assist the local church to disciples their community.
To work alongside African leadership, Rev. Simon Peter Emiau, as the reach of local missionaries is expanded to all of Africa. Together with him, and other leaders of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Africa, they will work to raise up young adults to take their place in reaching Africa for Christ.
Ministry History: Linda has served in International Missions since 1983, initially at the PAOC International office. She moved with her family to Uganda in 2005 to work with Watoto Child Care Ministries, returning to Canada in 2011. In 2015 she began working with the Pentecostal Assemblies of God in Uganda with a focus on discipleship and young adult ministry.
Prayer Requests:
For wisdom as together with Rev. Simon Peter Emiau they develop discipleship training strategies
For fertile ground as tracts and courses are distributed
That young adults would realize their full potential in Christ as they are discipled and transformed
Strength and health in body, mind and spirit
