OUR TRANSFORMATIONAL IMPACT: Our vision is to help equip and raise up active ministers of the gospel for kingdom fruitfulness all over the world.
OUR MINISTRY FOCUS: Out of the approximately 2.4 million pastors in the world, only 10% of them have had some form of theological training. Oftentimes, these church leaders don’t have access to theological training or the means to afford it.
In light of this, we’re seeking to ensure that those called to ministry are holistically equipped for transformation. Although we’re currently Canada based, we work internationally in support of our partner institutions.
I (Shelley) am the manager of the GlobalEd Institute, the vehicle through which we provide our equipping programs such as the Ministry Essentials Training Program (METP), Light for the Nations, and Quest.
I (Kirk) am the director for GlobalEd. I also consult, advise, and train leaders of numerous educational institutions that serve both our global workers and international partners. I also oversee the Timothy Fund Scholarship program and the Equipping Community of Practice, while representing the PAOC in global forums such as the World Alliance for Pentecostal Theological Education.
YOUR PARTNERSHIP: You will have the opportunity to invest in leaders and institutions who are being equipped for transformational impact.
OUR MINISTRY HISTORY: We first began ministering in Kenya in 1999, serving at Pan Africa Christian University for 11 years. We also helped establish feeding programs in the local slums, caring for orphans and street children. In 2010, we moved to Jakarta, Indonesia, serving at Universitas Pelita Harapan for three wonderful years. While there, we were actively involved in our church, mentoring young adults and setting up feeding programs in impoverished areas. In 2013, we moved to Klaipeda, Lithuania, where we served for five years at LCC International University, a Christian liberal arts university. In 2018, we returned to Canada and established the GlobalEd Institute as a vehicle for non-formal equipping initiatives, such as our expanding METP program, at the Summit Pacific College campus.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
For God to help the GlobalEd leaders to effectively minister for Him all over the world.
For God to give us favour to help equip and raise up the next generation of new global workers.
For God to grant us His wisdom to support all our international partners, many whom face difficult political, social, and economic challenges.
