Location: Thailand, Southeast Asia
Ministry Focus: We serve in northern Thailand among the Hmong, Karen, and Lahu tribal communities. Our heart is to walk alongside local pastors and churches—supporting, encouraging, and equipping them through biblical training, leadership development, and practical community initiatives. Whether it’s helping drill a well for a boarding school, establishing a shelter for women, or launching sustainable farming projects, our desire is to see both physical and spiritual needs met in Jesus’ name.
Our Vision: To serve and strengthen the local church in Thailand by walking alongside tribal communities with compassion, humility, and gospel-centered purpose.
Ministry History: God first called me (Yves) to missions back in 1988 after Bible college, with a deep burden for unreached and Francophone peoples. Though the door didn’t fully open then, He reignited that calling during a trip to Egypt in 2009. After retiring from public service in Canada, Françoise and I sensed His clear leading during a discernment trip to Thailand in 2013. We’ve been serving here since 2014 under Mission Global, and we count it a privilege to walk with the Thai church and tribal communities in this beautiful nation.
Prayer Requests:
- Wisdom and strength as Yves and Françoise continue to build partnerships and respond to the evolving needs of the communities they serve.
- Fruitful outcomes from long-term development projects like the Seed Project, the Abigail Refuge, and the upcoming book project.
- Spiritual growth and leadership among local pastors and believers in the tribal churches, especially the younger generation rising in faith.
