Tyler is a husband and father of two with a heart for the nations and a deep desire to see people encounter the love of Christ. For the past three and a half years they have had the privilege of serving overseas where God continually deepened their passion for cross-cultural ministry. Following the unexpected early arrival of their son, the Lord led their family back to Canada. While the family location has changed, Tyler’s calling has not. Tyler remains committed to reaching people from every nation with the hope of the gospel.

Now based in Edmonton, Tyler senses God leading into a new season of ministry among newcomers to Canada coming alongside newcomer families as they learn English as a Second Language (ESL), while also engaging international students on college and university campuses. While living in Ethiopia, Tyler and Alexis discovered the Growing Participation Approach—a relational language-learning methodology founded by PAOC Global Workers. Tyler has found it to be an effective and natural way to learn language and build meaningful relationships. Language learning is a unique gateway into people's lives, creating opportunities to build genuine, long-lasting relationships rooted in trust where gospel sharing comes naturally by the Spirit!
