Ministry Focus: The Armitages have served in Europe since 2002. They currently live in Bratislava, Slovakia, with their three daughters. Sheldon serves as the Assistant Regional Director for Eurasia Now and provides strategic facilitation and consulting for missionaries and missional organizations around the region. Anna is a pastor at Bratislava City Church and together they serve on the Leadership Team. Sheldon also teaches at the national Bible college (Gateway College) and serves on the Advisory Board for the European Freedom Network, an anti-trafficking and sexual exploitation network.
Sheldon and Anna love seeing people discover their God-given potential. They believe the kingdom of God can be revealed in Europe once again.Ministry History: The Armitages are a cross-cultural family. Sheldon is from Vancouver, Canada and Anna is from Topolcany, Slovakia. They met in Slovakia and were married in Vancouver, Canada in 2000. Shortly after, they went to England to work with a missions organization that was doing Church Planting, Leadership Development, and Short Term Missions.
In 2006, they moved to Nitra, Slovakia and helped plant a Pentecostal church in the city. During this time they also were involved in training leaders, anti-trafficking work and serving on the Regional Lead Team.
In 2012, they started pastoring Bratislava International Fellowship and shortly moved to the capital city. Sheldon is now the Assistant Regional Director and Anna serves on the pastoral staff of the largest Slovak Pentecostal church in the city.
