Thirty‑seven years ago, God reached into the life of this Mission Canada worker and rescued them, setting their feet on a new and extraordinary path. This worker fled the country of their birth and lived as a refugee in Turkey, where—by God’s grace—they encountered Jesus Christ and received Him as Saviour and Lord. Since that moment, through Bible college, graduate studies, pastoral ministry, church planting, evangelism, discipleship, and more than three decades of faithful service, God has been preparing this worker for the calling He has now placed before them. Today, this worker is partnering with Mission Canada to help reach the nations with the hope of the gospel.

This worker's ministry focuses primarily on Iranians and Afghans throughout Metro Vancouver, where many Persian‑speaking newcomers are searching for truth, purpose, forgiveness, and hope. They seeks to build genuine friendships within these communities and share the gospel through relational evangelism, hospitality, and Discovery Bible Studies. They also disciples new believers toward spiritual maturity, helps connect them with healthy local churches, and equips them to become disciple‑makers within their own families, friendships, and communities.

Through the power of the Holy Spirit—and through the partnership of churches across Metro Vancouver—we can reach people none of us could ever reach on our own.
