Vision statement:
To see the church rise for the Kingdom transformation of individuals, communities and nations based on a Biblical worldview
Ministry focus:
We are equipping individuals, local churches and Christian organizations for Kingdom transformation based on a biblical worldview and a holistic view of ministry. Our concentration is twofold: the most socioeconomically vulnerable and the 'modern vulnerable' (as we now call the younger generation). We serve as Global workers in the Latin American and the Caribbean region. Nelson is also the Assistant Regional Director for the region. We work with a network of partners that include national churches and like-minded national and international Christian organizations.
Ministry history:
We have been in missions for 36 years. After ministering in the areas of evangelism, church planting, theological education and missionary training, in 2011, we started ministering to children and families in the poor community of Vila Feliz, Brazil, in partnership with a Brazilian local church. At the same time, we start to equip young adults in the church for transformation in society through their vocation. As the years went by, God expanded that ministry to the national level, and later to Canada and the Portuguese speaking African countries through our online training. In the beginning of 2025, Nelson also started to serve as PAOC Assistant Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean to help strategically grow a holistic view of discipleship in the region.
Prayer requests:
For God to raise more young adults to become kingdom agents for His glory and for the transformation of impoverished communities and the younger generations.
For God to help us develop stronger and lasting relationships with more churches and leaders who are passionate about equipping other individuals and churches for Kingdom transformation in communities and society.
For God to continue to ground us in Him and His Word as we seek to minister his transforming power, and that He will supply us with strength and added resources to fulfill our call.
