Everyone is concerned about leadership shortage. In the Maritimes, we're constantly thinking about our need to develop young leaders. Our Bible school is 1500 kilometres away, and when our young leaders leave the region, sometimes they don't come back. We needed an effective strategy.
Our response was to create an in-District solution that partners with our college (MCS) and also holds tight to Jesus' method of making leaders - ministry apprenticeship.
We think the best people to make pastors are pastors.
It has taken a lot of effort, and it's expensive, but we're winning! Leaders are being made and people are coming to Jesus. God is still calling people to lead His church!
