Vision Statement: I want to be able to see God work and move in the lives of the University Students at Global Student Center in Phnom Penh as well as all the children in ChildCARE Plus. I also desire for the Holy Spirit to guide me and help me serve and bless the people around me using all the gifts He has blessed me with.
Ministry Focus: My main focus is to help Global Workers Tiffanie and Ian Rowley with their ministries by supporting and working with the university students and children in practical ways. I will be there for three months. I will start by using the first few weeks to explore the different ministry areas, shadowing workers, and trying a bit of everything. After gaining an understanding of the sphere of opportunities, I will prayerfully consider which areas the Lord would have me use the gifts and skills God has given me.
Ministry History: I just graduated this past spring, and I am very excited to step into missions. Ever since I was five and helping serve meals at a homeless shelter, I absolutely fell in love with serving and helping people. God has blessed me with a soft and empathetic heart, and I have always enjoyed putting myself into communities where I can serve people. I have spent three summers volunteering at a Bible camp, where my love for supporting and leading groups of people--especially children--has escalated.
Prayer Requests:
- That I would be able to use the gifts God has given me to bring glory to Him and to bless the people around me.
- To grow in spiritual maturity as well as confidence in myself and grow in closeness to God.
- That I would be able to completely rely on God's strength and provision for the entirety of my trip.
