LOCATION: Africa and the Middle East
TRANSFORMATIONAL IMPACT: My passion is to train, equip, resource, and mobilize the next generation of leaders in Africa and the Middle East to effect positive change in their personal lives, their communities, and ultimately, their nations.
MINISTRY FOCUS: Nothing gives me more fulfillment and joy than to train people from all walks of life to become thriving leaders! Within the African and Middle East Region, I travel to various countries, teaching training leadership seminars, in order to address issues related to developing strong, compassionate leaders of integrity who understand the concept of servant leadership.
I, along with the help and support of my husband Kodo, teach leaders, leaders-in-training, and trainers from churches, non-profit organizations, businesses, mission agencies and other organizations all across Africa and the Middle East. We also both serve on our African Middle East leadership team, caring for individual global workers through small group get-togethers and check-ins.
I organize team building activities and teach courses on such topics as “Servant leadership,” “The Life-Giving Power of Authentic Community,” and “How to Lead Small Group.” I also offer consultancy for various agencies, customizing courses based on their area of need or interest.
I very much believe that through these leadership training initiatives that if true personal transformation exists in the hearts of leaders, and if they feel equipped it will lead to their communities changed by high moral standards and values that transcend any given culture.
YOUR IMPACT: Your partnership will see more African and Middle Eastern leaders rise up to effect positive change in their communities.
MINISTRY HISTORY: I have lived in Africa most of my life. I obtained my Master’s in Leadership and have over 20 years of experience on the mission field. My husband Kodo has his Master’s in Business Administration, passionately serving in community development. We met in Rwanda where we both served as leaders on our church’s worship and youth teams. Married ten years, we have two precious children Kaylynn and Karson.
Prayer Requests:
- For God to open hearts and minds of the leaders we minister to that they understand their roles are to impact their communities for good.
- For God to provide more opportunities to reach more leaders in other nations through leadership training.
- For God to keep us safe and healthy and strong.
