Josh has been serving in Victoria, BC, since planting The Table Church in 2009, where he continues to pastor and shape creative direction. One of his greatest joys has always been walking alongside university-aged students. These years are profoundly formative—early habits, convictions, and experiences often ripple through the rest of life with God.
As a Ministry Assistant with University Christian Ministries (UCM) at the University of Victoria, Josh mentors and guides student leaders as they grow in their gifts, wrestle with the claims of Jesus, and share His hope with others. Josh's work includes mentoring, teaching, coaching group leadership, preparing studies, helping with music, and supporting strategic planning for the ministry.
Josh believes the university setting offers an incredible opportunity for students to encounter Christ, explore big questions, and discover the kind of community that shapes faith for a lifetime. His prayer is that each student he meets will learn to follow Jesus with courage, compassion, and joy—both on campus and far beyond it.
