Job Description
We are looking for the next team member to join the pastoral staff of our vibrant, growing church in beautiful Penticton, BC. The ideal candidate will be highly relational, team oriented and could be, but not necissarily, semi-retired or looking for a second career. As our part-time Care Pastor, you will oversee the development and implementation of a strategic plan for Bethel's Care & Seniors ministries, giving oversight to pastoral care, visitation and funerals as required. Some preaching possible at the Lead Pastor's discretion. Salary and vacation tbd, commensurate to experience. Health & Dental benefits available. Includes monthly cell phone stipend. Education Required
Undergraduate degree in pastoral, counselling or social services preferred.
Experience Required
Experience working in pastoral ministry with a track record of ministry experience preferred. Ministry credentials in good standing with the PAOC preferred, but not required.
