PAOC Prayer - Your Update for the Week of November 12, 2018

Re-revised PAOC Prayer Banner

PAOC Prayer is a weekly communication of prayer requests sent from The PAOC International Office in Mississauga, Ont. To download a PDF version of PAOC Prayer, please click here.

Join us this week in praying for these specific needs in our nation, our world, and in our PAOC family of workers, both internationally and in Canada. If you have received this communication as a forwarded message and want to sign up for weekly prayer updates, click here.

UNITED STATES

The PAOC joins with the Assemblies of God in praying for the people of California where wildfires are causing massive destruction. Thirty-one people have been killed, with almost 230 more people unaccounted for. Thousands of people have been evacuated, and many houses as well as two Assemblies of God churches have been severely damaged or destroyed. Pray that God will pour rain upon the area so that the fires will be brought under control and that He will protect, strengthen and encourage the firefighters and first responders. Pray also that God will comfort people who may have lost their homes or loved ones and are facing an uncertain future, and that He will provide for evacuated residents.

REMEMBRANCE DAY

We honour the memory of Canadians who have lost their lives in military service and ask God to continue to strengthen and encourage those still in mourning. We honour our veterans and pray that God will continue to grant them emotional healing and support and provide for their physical needs. We pray that God will continue to grant strength, wisdom, protection and favour to those currently in service, and encouragement to their families.

BRITISH COLUMBIA & YUKON DISTRICT

Pray for everyone who will be attending “SENT,” the young adults gathering being held at Living Waters Church in Fort Langley, B.C., on November 17. May they have opportunities to connect and build relationships with one another as they gather together to work out the unique purposes God has for their lives. Pray also that God will open doors to help them use what they learn in a significant way to serve and reach their communities and the world for Christ.

Michel-lyn Mattiussi

BOLIVIA

Pray that Michel-lyn, as she begins her ministry in Bolivia, would be able to develop deep and lasting relationships with the Bolivian people. May God guide her in her work as an administrator for Global University. Pray also that she would be able to gain a deep understanding of Spanish through her language study.
