Highlights from India from Murray Cornelius

I recently travelled to India with Brent Cantelon to join Sarah and Christo Emmanuel at Living God Church, in Chennai, India, to celebrate its 10th anniversary.  It was wonderful to be part of the services that commemorated all the achievements that have been made in the last decade, including the ordaining of two new ministers.

Living God Church has become a crucial part of the community through VBS camps, youth events, ministry training, micro-business classes, flood relief outreach and more. These efforts have grown the church’s membership to 600-700 members.

Living God Church was founded by PAOC global workers, Sarah and Christo Emmanuel. This great young couple is passionate about what they are doing and have sacrificially given so this ministry could grow to what it is today. They even offered up their own family property so the church would have a building to meet in.  It was a blessing to recognize and honour the work they have done so far. Sarah and Christo can take a little and through hard work and divine inspiration, they do a lot of good.

As Living God Church continues to grow, we are hoping to purchase an adjacent building to the original church building to accommodate the growing numbers of congregants and people from the community who are responding to the Gospel. Please continue to pray and give towards this ministry. Thank you for your continued support of Sarah and Christo as they navigate the challenges and achievements of their ministry.
