WHAT NEXT GEN IS ALL ABOUT

NEXT GEN Leadership Gathering is a valuable retreat that provides a time of refreshing for young pastors in ministry. At this retreat, we aim to provide ministry for the minister in both a personal and practical way, including spiritually refreshing sessions for all who attend. It is a chance to get poured into with worship, biblical teaching, and ministry times, and meet with old and new friends.

WHO IS NEXT GEN FOR?

NEXT GEN Leadership Gathering is for pastors and leaders who serve in Next Gen ministries such as: Children & Family, Youth, and Young Adults, including on-campus university ministries. This includes those in Full Time, Part Time, Bi-vocational and Volunteer pastoral roles. This event will connect and encourage leaders both personally and practically, including spiritually refreshing sessions!

KIDS PROGRAM

Our Kids Program is available during the sessions scheduled in our main event itinerary for children age 2 - 12. Each child must be pre-registered. Infants who will remain in the care of the parents during the conference do not have to be registered. Please note that this program will be available to parents on a first come, first served basis: once the program is full, we will not be accepting additional children, however, a wait list will be created.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

MATT TAPLEY

Matt Tapley has been the Lead Pastor of Lakemount Worship Centre in Grimsby, Ontario since 2008. He serves the Church by developing leaders in a culture of dependence on the Spirit with full devotion to the unchanging Word of God. Matt and his wife Lisa have been happily married since August 1994. Together they have three amazing kids – Abigail (’98), Joey (’99) and Sarah (’01)

WORSHIP

JOSHUA ALI + TEAM

Joshua Ali, born and raised in Trinidad & Tobago, has spent the last 19 years leading worship around the world. Joshua spent most of his ministry in Trinidad and Tobago, the United States, and Canada. Joshua had the privilege of leading worship in places such as Jerusalem, the United Kingdom, South America, Central America, and the Caribbean Islands. While touring these places, he was invited to speak and lead at conferences, concerts, and revivals as a guest pastor. Joshua is now married to Ashley Ali, and they have a new baby boy. Joshua, who now lives in Canada, is the Associate/Worship Pastor at Calvary Kitchener and enjoys leading God's people in worship.
