How Do You Measure Church Growth?

Do you remember the math work sheets in early elementary school? Your teacher would hand you a piece of paper with varying equations on it. You would see numbers, a few illustrations and some word problems. Questions like, “if Sally has a basket with 2 apples and Jim gives her 1 apple, how many apples does Sally have in her basket now?”

The answer would be simple. Sally now has 3 apples. Sally’s collection of apples has grown- the impact is straightforward and clearly measurable.

Now let me ask you a new question. “If 1 new church is planted in Canada, how many lives will be changed forever?”

How does logic in addition and multiplication apply to Church growth?

How do you measure the impact of church multiplication?   

You see, church multiplication isn’t as simple as the math from our elementary years. Church multiplication is far reaching and long lasting!

That’s why the work we do at PAOC Multiply Network is so important! Each new church plant has a lasting impact that transcends generations and changes our world!  

Thanks to our generous donors, churches and Districts, Multiply Network helped serve our PAOC Fellowship in starting10 NEW Disciple Making Communities in 2024! And while we can define the number of new communities, we can’t even begin to fathom the impact these new churches will have here in Canada and around the world! We could never fully grasp the number of lives transformed because of the seeds sown in these communities and the ripple effects into their families, workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods!
