Job Description

The Soccer Coach and Consultant position will provide opportunity to engage locals relationally and participate in a church planting team. These teams have a primary focus on intentionally sowing the Gospel, training new believers in evangelism, discipleship, and church formation, and raising up indigenous leaders who are faithfully fulfilling the Great Commission. Instruct and/or assist with coaching groups or individuals in the fundamentals of soccer. Demonstrate and/or desire to learn techniques and methods of participation. Assist to plan, organize and conduct practice sessions. Be willing to assist to arrange and conduct sports-related activities, such as training camps, skill-improvement courses, clinics, and pre-season try-outs. Assist to instruct individuals or groups in sports rules, game strategies, and performance principles

Required Skills

Ability to integrally live out your faith and disciple others. Performing general physical activities Coaching and developing others is an asset. Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships in addition to working with the public and participants. Creativity in development of programs and communicating/developing a network is an asset.

Education Required

Basic Coaching Courses such as Active Start, FUNdamentals, Learn to Train and Soccer for Life would be an asset.

Experience Required

Coaching experience is an asset.
