Senior Pastor Position – 19Twenty Church, Vancouver, BC.
19Twenty Church is seeking a full-time Senior Pastor to provide pastoral leadership, vision, and direction to the church. This role is focused on serving 19Twenty Church and also providing overall leadership to the larger organization we refer to as ‘Finnish Bethel Church’. The elder board is in the process of discerning the next leader for the church.

Finnish Bethel Church is a multi-generational congregation with two distinct ministries: 19twenty Church (https://www.19twenty.org/) and Kotikirkko (http://www.kotikirkko.bc.ca/). FBC’s mission is “to know Christ and make him known” and the senior pastor will work within the elder board to determine direction and the vision forward for the church to continue its history of serving its community.
The senior pastor is called to focus primarily on providing leadership and the development of 19twenty Church (weekly attendance of ~30-40 including a few young families).
The senior pastor will challenge FBC staff, leadership and community to grow in our understanding of how to practically carry out the Great Commission, including increased utilization of FBC facilities for kingdom benefit.
The senior pastor will also provide overall leadership of FBC including Kotikirkko (weekly attendance of ~30 Finnish speaking seniors), with preaching and ministry being carried out by existing Finnish speaking staff.
