Job Description

Reporting to the Data Systems and Donations Manager, the work includes administrative activities to support acquiring, stewarding and retaining supporters. The majority of the work is performed using a Raisers Edge database system. The work also includes significant personal interactions with ERDO’s donors and sponsors. Key Responsibilities: • Lead reception and call and e-mail handling for ERDO inquiries • Responding to and disseminating e-mail inquiries received by ERDO • Phoning account holders in arrears • Gift entry and account corrections in Raiser’s Edge • Renewal Letters - collection of data and mailing • Performing general administrative duties including but not limited to banking, filing, mail opening and stocking of supplies

Required Skills

• Strong customer service and organizational skills • Ability to express yourself clearly and professionally in written and verbal English communications • Experienced in data entry and functions with Raisers Edge and/or donor management systems • Word processing speed of 50 wpm or greater • Demonstrated computer skills and aptitude; fully conversant with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. • Experience working effectively in a team environment

Education Required

• Post-secondary education preferred

Experience Required

• Prior experience with Raiser’s Edge in an administrative position • Prior experience with arrears calling in a charity environment • Bilingualism (French) • Familiarity with relief and development activities and principles of social justice
