Description As the mission sending agency of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, Mission Global provides operational support to over 300 global workers in 75+ countries worldwide. Our primary task is to assist our global workers, empower our churches, and act as a seamless link between Canadian believers and a network of international partners and ministries. Our mission is “To glorify God by making disciples everywhere by proclaiming and practising the gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit”. You are joining the Personnel team of Mission Global, which is responsible for mobilizing, assessing, coaching and training new global workers and volunteers, as well as providing global worker care from pre-deployment, to-field care and through transitions. The Mobilization Lead serves as part of the Mission Global Personnel Team for the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC), including those within the RAN mechanism. The Mobilization Lead is responsible to lead the Mobilization Team (as a sub-team of the Personnel Team) to effectively engage global disciple-makers to least-reached and vulnerable peoples by designing, developing, and delivering engagement systems, tools and communications focused on the strategic priorities of Mission Global. You are our key mobilizer, engaging the next generation, gifted at integrating God’s story, our organization’s story, and the potential global worker’s story into a compelling and inspiring call to action. You are able to cultivate relationships with Next Gen and Campus leaders, Districts, and local churches, as well as global workers and partners around the world to translate their strategic opportunities into meaningful opportunities for the next generation of Canadian students, leaders and skilled professionals, looking to engage in God’s Mission in a meaningful way. The Mobilization Lead will provide a diverse range of coordinative functions within a virtual and collaborative team setting. You are a high-capacity individual who takes on new challenges as they emerge. Responsibilities: (would include but not be limited to) 1. Under the supervision of the Personnel Director, and in collaboration with the Senior Contributor, responsible to lead the mobilization strategy of Mission Global. 2. Lead the Mobilization team, including Mobilization Associates, staff and volunteers, to identify, promote and coach Canadian believers towards engagement with and deployment to Mission Global initiatives and opportunities. 3. In collaboration with Regional Directors, Global Programs, and integrated charities, develop, and promote new strategic field opportunities. 4. Develop, promote and lead effective engagement and mobilization events, focused on identifying and engaging believers called to follow Christ by deploying to least-reached and vulnerable peoples in our four global Regions; Asia, Eurasia, Africa and the Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean. 5. Develop and deliver creative and effective mobilization campaigns, tools and resources to communicate the strategic field opportunities of Mission Global and help people discover their place in God’s Mission. 6. Create new mobilization opportunities through the development and delivery of strategic short-term mission group experiences and opportunities consistent with the goals and values of Mission Global. 7. Create and manage a Mission Global Mobilization Pipeline to purposefully, professionally, and flexibly engage potential global workers towards Short, Mid and Long-Term placements. Ensure effective communication and follow-up with enquirers to encourage application with Mission Global, including the keeping of records and reporting of same. 8. Seek to effectively equip and resource others (Mission Global Leaders, Pastors, University Campus Leaders, Bible Colleges etc.) to facilitate the mobilization and cultivation of prospective global workers in their sphere of influence, and to effectively channel interested persons to Mission Global as the preferred sending agency. 9. Travel internationally, as requested, to contribute to the development and promotion of new strategic placement opportunities (not more than two trips per year). Travel domestically to represent and promote Mission Global at key mobilization events, as opportunities arise. 10.
