Lead Pastor - Christian Life Assembly - Peace River, Alberta

As lead pastor, you will provide spiritual leadership to members of Christian Life Assembly (CLA). As a church we are looking for a pastor that is ready to develop spiritual gifting's within our congregation and as a result engage our church and community to God’s work. In a practical sense we will need a Pastor who is ready to prepare weekly sermons, preach and conduct worship services. Our lead pastor will also be responsible to interpret biblical scripture for the congregation. The Lead Pastor will provide care and counsel to church members and assist them in crisis situations. In addition, working as CLA’s lead pastor you will be required to officiate at special services such as; baby dedications, baptisms, weddings and funerals. Working hours will be irregular to divide time between conducting church services, attending social events at the church and in community and completing administrative duties. Required Qualifications: Credentials with PAOC (or willing to obtain)

Preferred Additional Qualifications: 1. Leadership training and an interest in building leaders 2. Counselling training and/or experience 3. Experience with strong community ministry 4. Dependable work ethic
