ERDO Summer 2022 Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a student to join our team in a paid summer position, commencing June 13th and ending August 12, 2022. This position will be of interest to students currently studying the area of marketing and communications and having an interest in international development. Tasks & Responsibilities: • Analyze internal and external data to identify existing and potential giving segments • Assist in creating marketing plans to: reach new giving segments, increase stewardship, and grow income • Assist in preparation of marketing materials for campaigns and grant applications • Conduct research and updates country information with the goal of creating program sheets that educate and retain child sponsors • Perform duties as assigned to support the communications work of ERDO’s Resource Development department. The student will be supervised and mentored by ERDO’s Director of Resource Development, with ample opportunity to work cross-functionally. Through this experience the student will learn the skills needed to prepare marketing materials and campaigns related to child sponsorship, crisis response and community development. Work Environment: • This job takes place at ERDO’s office in Mississauga, ON in a pleasant work environment with free parking • ERDO’s office is located on a main floor and offers a barrier-free environment • The student will be provided with a workspace and computer for the performance of their work
This is a Canada Summer Jobs position.
