Activities you will participate in include: • Writing and/or editing content for various print publications and digital/video messaging. • Creating and uploading web content and social media updates. • Facilitating French translation. • Developing and monitoring production schedules and ensuring they are met by individuals and/or departments. • Contacting and corresponding with writers and/or contributors to testimony/Enrich magazine via phone or e-mail for follow-up information on submitted articles. • Assisting with billing reconciliation. • Preparing/managing order desk inventory numbers for each production. • Helping to prepare boardrooms for meetings (room bookings, photocopies, meal orders, water, etc.). • Other administrative duties as assigned or required.
• Strong communicator (written and verbal). • Exceptional writing and editing skills. • Exceptional interpersonal and diplomacy skills. • Flexible and adaptable to change. • Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills. • Good understanding of the PAOC and its various publics/audiences. • Strong computer skills (email, MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint). • Strong comfort level with website and social media platforms. • Knowledge of French (written and spoken) would be an asset.
• A college diploma or university degree in communications or a related field.
• At least two years of administrative assistant experience. • Experience working in a not-for-profit and/or Christian organization and active attendance and involvement at a PAOC church are definite assets.
