Job Description
Responsible to oversee the development and implementation of ministries related to the spiritual welfare, vision, and direction to children’ programs and the general growth and life of the church.
Provides spiritual leadership to lay leaders as they minister and serve the children’s ministries of NLA.
Oversee NLA Plan to Protect program.
Provides spiritual leadership to the children in the church and community.
Works with Lead Pastor in any capacity required to serve those in our community of faith and those in our community.
Required Skills
Children’s Pastor must be a person who exhibits the godly character qualities outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9; 1 Peter 5:1-4 and Acts 6:4
They should have experience and/or training in children's ministry and/or children's educational setting
They need to be able to understand and to work in a culturally diverse community.
They should subscribe and uphold the doctrines of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada constitution with regard to the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the initial evidence of Speaking in Tongues.
They should hold credentials or be willing to or moving towards credentials with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.
Education Required
They should have experience and/or training in children's ministry and/or children's educational setting.
