Job Description

CCP has been ministering in Cambodia for over 8 years and is working in 13 communities with over 500 children and their families. The CCP team here is looking for individuals who have a heart for impoverished children and their families to come to a more holistic place physically, emotionally and spiritually. Through working with the local site manager and CCP team, we aim to provide teaching and training in areas like physical cleanliness, emotional/physical/sexual abuse, women’s health, English, Bible/Sunday School classes, sports, etc. We are looking for individuals that believe a transforming gospel along with social support can change families. With Cambodia being such a young country, the potential future for our children is bright and the impact immense for years to come. Duties/Responsibilities: - Being present in the CCP sites to lead/assist in training sessions. For example: women’s health, various forms of abuse, cleanliness, Bible, English, music, etc. - Assist/organize teaching classes geared towards the students interests as well as on the individual’s skill set - Support the current CCP director on community visits and ministry outreaches - Assist in the yearly CCP Kids Camp - Support and encourage current CCP site managers - Attend church occasionally in the CCP sites - Be involved in the monthly distributions - Attend CCP Team meetings -Meet with and give relational support to CCP graduates - Assist when STM teams come - Participate as an integral member of the Child Care Plus management team

- Have a vibrant relationship with God - See the value in relational ministry and have good relational skills - Ability to work within a team and be an active team member - Willing to serve others - Take initiative in both projects and relationships -Be excited for what a new culture brings and be flexible to work within that culture. - Enjoy spending time with people - Passionate about seeing children and young people reach their full potential - Willing to learn the basics of a new language

Education Required

- Post-secondary education (any field) - Theological Studies background (asset) - Social Work/Medical training (asset)

Experience Required

- Previous experience working with children and youth - Ministry experience outside of traditional church models an asset -Ministry in a social work setting an asset
