Vanguard College, founded in 1946, operates in the City of Edmonton, Alberta, and is owned, governed, and operated by the Alberta and Northwest Territories District of The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. It is a degree-granting Bible college, accredited with the Association for Biblical Higher Education, and has had an enrolment in recent decades averaging over 200 students, including a vibrant online component and a staff of 30. Request for Proposal: The Board of Vanguard College is making a Request for Proposal with this notice and invites individuals to respond with a proposal to fill the position of President and CEO of Vanguard College Message from the Vanguard Board Chair ( Purpose: Vanguard College exists to develop and mobilize Spirit-empowered leaders to be fruitful in God’s mission. The ministry of the College has outcomes and hopes that are rooted in a living relationship with the Spirit of God, identified in the Scriptures, and lived out in a life devoted to God and His kingdom. Mission Imperatives: To serve the greater aims of The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, while maintaining accreditation with the Association of Biblical Higher Education as a semi-autonomous college operating in alignment with the ABNWT District of The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, as its owner. To provide biblical higher education through theological, practical, and professional training. To recognize the diversity of service in the Kingdom and seek to enable students to discern their call and develop their unique gifts and Christian character for a fruitful and prevailing Church.
