Assistant Pastor - Next Gen Ministries

The Next Gen Pastor will oversee and lead the church's ministry to children, youth, and young adults, with a focus on nurturing spiritual growth and development in the next generation. This role is critical to the long-term health and growth of the church, and requires someone who is passionate about serving young people (age 0-20+) from diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for children's, youth, and young adult ministry that aligns with the church's vision and values • Lead and coordinate all aspects of ministry to children, youth, and young adults, including Sunday school, youth group, and young adult gatherings • Recruit, train, and equip volunteers to serve in children's, youth, and young adult ministry • Build relationships with parents and families to support the spiritual growth and development of young people • Provide pastoral care and support to children, youth, and young adults as needed • Collaborate with other church staff and leaders to ensure the integration of children, youth, and young adults into the wider life of the church • Ensure that all activities and programs for children, youth, and young adults are safe, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the ministry to children, youth, and young adults, and make adjustments as needed

A bachelor's degree in theology, ministry, or a related field

3 years in a similar setting (preferred, but not necessary)
