Job Description
The BC & Yukon District of the PAOC has an immediate opening for someone who wants to use their administrative skills in a Christian ministry environment. We are looking for an individual with excellent administrative and organizational skills. This role involves working with new credential applicants, assisting existing credential holders, local churches, and government agencies, liaising with global workers, and working with our International Office. Management of our network’s database software (Realm) includes updating clergy files, church transitions, contact information, and producing reports and revising clergy records for the CRA and BC Division of Vital Statistics.
This member of our staff will also serve as the executive assistant for our Officer’s team, providing them with administrative support for information management, data processing, scheduling meetings, composing written dockets, taking minutes, and communication.
This member of our staff will establish a roster for our annual general meetings and assist with registrations for our district conferences, seminars, and other corporate gatherings.
The successful applicant will have strong administrative abilities, will be able to manage competing priorities, and will demonstrate personal initiative. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Excel, and Asana would be an asset.
Our compensation package is consistent with administrative positions in non-profit organizations. Salary Range is $51,000 to $54,000, plus extended healthcare benefits.
