Christian Counselling Services is seeking to expand our clinical team to include a Registered Psychologist, Registered Social Worker, or Registered Therapist. Areas of clinical work will include general psychological issues that affect populations across the lifespan with a particular focus on children, youth, and families. The position will be part-time to start, with future expansion to full-time. In addition to the direct provision of counselling and psychological services, the successful candidate will be responsible for effective case management, facilitation of therapeutic groups in the community, public education on mental health issues, and professional networking.
The successful applicant will join a dynamic and thriving clinical team that is committed to the professional and ethical practice of psychology and counselling. The ability to integrate Christian faith into clinical services from an evidence-based perspective is an essential asset for employment.
The successful applicant will possess the following credentials, training, and experience: Completion of the minimum of a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counselling Current registration with the College of Psychologists, Saskatchewan Association of Social Work, or other professional regulatory body Christian faith that informs personal life and professional practice Understanding of the integrative process as it relates to faith and practice Understanding and agreement with CCS’ vision, mission, philosophy, core values, Statement of Faith, and Code of Conduct A minimum of three years’ experience is preferred Certification with First Nations and Inuit Health will be considered an asset
