Small Group Director

Cambodia

Purpose

Global Student Center & Dorm (Global) is a place where students come from all over Cambodia and become a part of the Global family.  Deeply rooted in relationship, students find themselves involved in small groups, sports, language learning, church planting and other ministries. Their desire is to give back to their communities to see Kingdom change throughout the country.

Every student at Global is encouraged to be part of a small group led by a national Khmer Christian – everything from bible studies and prayer groups to informal friendship and conversational English groups. Spiritually mature leaders are needed to disciple the national small group leaders, encouraging creativity and facilitating outreach opportunities.

Skills

Experience with leading small groups to give oversight to the small group ministry - mentoring, facilitating and empowering national small group leaders. Khmer language is an asset or willingness to learn Khmer.

Support

Join Ian & Tiffanie Rowley in Phnom Phen, serving with ChildCARE Plus or Global. Their team dynamic is easygoing and their home is open, where teammates are invited to share meals and become part of the family. Those who join the team will receive initial assistance to begin life in Cambodia, and to learn language and culture. Weekly team check-ins ensure good team communication. This team values independence, personal initiative, encouraging others,  transparency and flexibility.

Our International Missions team will walk with you along the way – from application to deployment. Training, administrative support and mission coaching will be provided, along with assistance for promotional and fundraising efforts.
