Soccer Coach

The Soccer Coach and Consultant position will provide opportunity to engage locals relationally and participate in a church planting team. This team has a primary focus on intentionally sowing the Gospel, training new believers in evangelism, discipleship, and church formation, and raising up indigenous leaders who are faithfully fulfilling the Great Commission. 

You can be a part of this great movement. 


Instruct and/or assist with coaching groups or individuals in the fundamentals of soccer. Demonstrate and/or desire to learn techniques and methods of participation. Assist to plan, organize and conduct practice sessions. Be willing to assist to arrange and conduct sports-related activities, such as training camps, skill-improvement courses, clinics, and pre-season try-outs. Assist to instruct individuals or groups in sports rules, game strategies, and performance principles. 

The ability to integrally live out your faith and disciple others, and to perform general physical activities, coaching and developing others is an asset. Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships in addition to working with the public and participants is also an asset as well as creativity in development of programs and communicating/developing a network.

Basic coaching experience like Active Start, FUNdamentals, Learn to Train and Soccer for Life would be an asset. 


Your local team will support you closely in day to day activities and will assist with cultural adaptation, setting up life in country and building relationships with local community members.   

Our International Missions team will walk with you along the way – from application to deployment. Training, administrative support and mission coaching will be provided, along with assistance for promotional and fundraising efforts.
