Foreign English Teacher

North Africa

Reach the heart of the students with the transformational message of Jesus through teaching English as a Second Language (ESL). You will have the opportunity to teach classes for a wide range of ages, status and positions within society. English curriculum will assist locals to increase their competency level and succeed in their workplace and/or business endeavours. The team is instrumental in building relationships and influencing business managers and owners throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

Do you speak English? Can you teach? Our business requires ESL teachers for their English program. The ESL program is one of the many programs offered at the school. You will create and deliver the English language based on programs and lessons. While teaching, there is an opportunity to exhibit a high standard of character and professionalism as well as build relationships with others, and share your faith with those who have not yet heard the gospel message.

A TESOL certificate and/or a Bachelor of Education degree is an asset. You must be a native English speaker, organized and able to develop and deliver an English curriculum. This opportunity requires a full school-year commitment (September to June each year).

Your local team will support you closely in day to day activities and will assist with cultural adaptation, setting up life in country and building relationships with local community members. There will be a small salary offered by our field partner, however some fundraising will be required to cover additional expenses.

Our International Missions team will walk with you along the way – from application to deployment. Training, administrative support and mission coaching will be provided, along with assistance for promotional and fundraising efforts.

*This opportunity is offered in conjunction with our partner organization.
