Sara Curdie – Canada

Location: Canada

Ministry Focus

Sara is a part of the Zoe Network team focusing on Zoe Projects. ZOE is all about helping women thrive. Through global partners, ZOE Projects build strength into the lives of vulnerable women in four key areas: health, education, economic empowerment, and restoration from human sex trafficking; all with a heart for spiritual transformation. Sara will be working alongside our partners to help these initiatives thrive and help them reach the most unreached and vulnerable populations. As well, Sara will be connecting the projects and stories of women to Canadian women to create an army of advocates of engaged women supporting our sisters globally.

Ministry History

Sara has served as the Missions Pastor at First Assembly Church in Calgary for the past 17 years. She has spent time living in the Uganda and United Kingdom and has travelled and ministered in almost 60 countries. She co-founded the Women of Purpose Conference in Calgary, a city-wide gathering of women to be inspired and launched into God’s purposes. She just joined the Zoe team full time to focus on strengthening what ZOE does globally in helping women thrive and to engage more women in helping lift each other up.

Prayer Request:

  • For the church to be mobilized in breaking down barriers for vulnerable women around the world.
  • For strong networks and relationships to be built globally with our partners.
  • For adjusting to new life as a global worker based in Calgary.
