Murray's Ride To Thrive

Murray's Ride To Thrive

Ride to Thrive

“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” – Galatians 6:10 (NIV)

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our international partners in the household of faith continue to face severe economic consequences resulting from lockdowns and the closures of businesses and churches in the communities where they seek to be the face of God.

International Missions and ERDO (Emergency Relief and Development Overseas), our humanitarian agency, have been and continue to respond to the needs of pastors and church leaders and the hard-hit communities they serve.

Last year, to offer tangible support to our colleagues worldwide, Murray, along with 23 Canadian colleagues and about 16 international partners, did a 100 km bicycle ride to raise funds to feed the families of these pastors and leaders. Murray's Ride to Thrive generated over $200,000, providing financial assistance to 2,000 pastors in 16 countries.

Watch the recap of last years' ride below!

Murray is riding his bike again this year to bring awareness and raise funds to continue our response to assist the overwhelming pandemic needs around the world. We want to, once again, care for those in the household of faith and extend our assistance through ERDO to the vulnerable and marginalized communities where our colleagues serve.

Our Ride to Thrive goal this year is $300,000, focusing on nations like Bangladesh, Dominican Republic, Guinea, Honduras, India, Liberia, Nepal, Russia, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, Zimbabwe.

Because the need is so great, Murray is riding 100 km in three different locations:

Murray is looking for riders to join us (you don't have to do all 100 km) and donations to support the Ride to Thrive. If interested in joining, please contact us.

We would appreciate your partnership and support for this years' Ride to Thrive!

On mission with God,

Murray Cornelius
